SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Indians battled back from a 5-1 deficit, with two Luke Tendler home runs and three straight three-run innings, to run away from the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 10-5 in front of 5,811 fans at Avista Stadium.

Tendler, playing in the field for the first time since August 17, hit his league-leading 10th and 11th homers in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively. It was his second homer, with Jose Trevino on base, that pushed Spokane ahead for good. Tendler finished 3-of-4 with three RBI, three runs scored and a walk.

Fernando Vivili continued to hit the ball well, collecting two hits on the night. He hit a RBI double in the sixth inning to bring the Indians within one run. Vivili also scored one run after Diego Cedeno drew a bases-loaded walk.

Nick Dignacco was given his first opportunity to start this season, tossing five innings in the debut. The lefty, though, gave up three home runs – two to outfielder Hunter Cole. Skyler Ewing hit the third home run for the Volcanoes. Reed Garrett, tossing two innings out of the bullpen, earned the win giving him six on the season.

Tyler Beede, the San Francisco Giants' first-round pick in the 2104 MLB First-Round Player Draft, earned his first start in the Northwest League, but was limited to 3.2 innings of work. He allowed just one run on five hits.

Cedeno, Seth Spivey and Juremi Profar each added a RBI in the victory. Spivey had two hits and now sits second in the league (.332) behind Eduard Pinto (.338).
