Amber Alert For Lame Deer Girl

Authorities say missing Mariah Eileen Akeen, 14, has been found unharmed. She was reported missing at 2 a.m. on Wednesday near Lame Deer. No other details have been released at this time.

An Amber Alert is issued for a 14-year-old Lame Deer girl. Officials say they believe Mariah Eileen Akeen was abducted at 2 a.m. Wednesday by 19-year-old Zachary Whiteman. The two are probably in a stolen tan 2004 Ford F150 pickup. They may be in the Ashland area. If you see them please call Northern Cheyenne Law Enforcement at 406-477-6288.

A report from the Missing Persons Clearing House said:

At 2 am, Mariah Akeen was a passenger in the tan Ford pickup when a traffic stop occurred.

Officers were arresting the driver when passenger Zachary Whiteman jumped into the driver's seat and took off with Mariah in the vehicle.

No one has seen or heard from Mariah since and the vehicle has been reported stolen.
