PASCO, WA- Aegis Team Crossfit Gym in Pasco joined other Crossfit gyms to honor the19 firefighters killed battling a fire in Arizona over a year ago.

Participants at the Pasco gym went through a series of workouts that are similar to what the firefighters in Arizona did at their local Crossfit gyms.

Aegis Team Crossfit manager Angela Arnott said they are participating because a few of their own members are fire fighters.

“We're doing this as a way to kind of pay it forward and pay it back, say thank you to our civil servants, our firefighters, our law enforcement, and our military,” said Arnott.

They did six rounds of 19 power cleans in honor of the 19 firefighters lost.  They also did 30 squats, seven pull-ups and ran 400 meters.

This is the Pasco gym's second year doing this and they hope to continue the tradition.
