WEST RICHLAND, WA- The Miniature Aircraft Association hosted Warbirds Over Washington.

The event attracted visitors from as far as Montana to watch miniature aircrafts fly.

Warbirds Over Washington started Friday morning and they expected nearly 30 pilots to fly the mini planes.  Many of the planes were exact replicas of actual aircrafts.

RC Sport Flyer magazine asked MAA to host the event.

“We were approached by Sport Flyer Magazine and asked about putting on a world class Warbird event for the state of Washington, similar to different events held at other places around the country,” said Clark Hymas, event contest director.

The event will go Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is no exact address for the event, but it is just passed Horn Rapids County Park in Benton City, Washington.
