Oscar Mayer Weinermobile Rolls into Town

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA - Have you ever wished to be an Oscar Mayer Weiner? This weekend you have the chance to come very close to it.

The weinermobile rolled into town earlier this week, and will continue to make stops at Fiesta Foods stores in our area.

The iconic vehicle hit the streets back in 1936 as a marketing concept; it's now become American nostalgia.

"A lot of what we get are those 'I remember when' moments, and they remember when they were a kid and saw it going down the street," said Joey Greenstein, a hotdogger for Oscar Mayer. "I think you can't help but smile when you see the weinermobile, because it brings back those memories...happy memories at that."

You can catch the weinermobile at Fiesta Foods in the following cities:

Sunnyside, WA (Friday, 11-5 p.m.)

Pasco,WA (Saturday, 11-4 p.m.)

Hermiston, OR (Sunday, 11-3 p.m.)
