PROSSER, WA - A Prosser High School student is taking his senior project eight seconds at a time. Wyatt Wentz is organizing a bull riding event called "Makin' 8 for Prostate."

All money raised from wine, beer and T-shirt sales will go to prostate cancer research. Wentz recently found a reason to target the disease, when someone very special to him came down with it.

"I'm doing it because my grandpa was diagnosed with prostate cancer just a couple months ago," said Wentz. "I feel like there's not enough awareness for prostate cancer like there is for say, breast cancer. So I feel like men are fighting stuff that people don't see as much."

The "Makin' 8 for Prostate" bull riding event is Saturday, Sept. 13th at the Yakima Valley Fairgrounds in Grandview at 7:00 pm.
