4 Car Crash Injures 5 People North of Pendleton

PENDLETON, ORE - Oregon state police are investigating a four car crash that injured five people north of Pendleton.

Police say around 7:20 a.m. Thursday, 51 year old Kari Wilson of Helix was driving northbound on Highway 11 when she drifted into oncoming traffic and hit the side of a Ford F350 pick-up truck causing the truck to roll.

Police say Wilson continued on in the wrong lane crashing into a Honda Civic then a Mini Cooper.

Wilson and a 7 year old passenger in the car were taken to St. Anthony Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the pick-up truck, 61 year old Clause Hoehna from Weston was also taken to St. Anthony Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda, 24 Year old Henry Becerril from Milton-Freewater, was taken by life flight to OSHU in Portland with serious injuries.

The driver of the Mini Cooper, 36 Year old Raul Marroquin Jr. from Walla Walla was taken to St. Mary Medical Center with minor injuries.

Police say all 5 people were wearing their seat belts at the time and are investigating the cause of the crash.

Highway 11 was closed for more than 4 hours.
