PASCO, WA- As National Drive Electric Week ended Saturday, people had a chance to learn more about the electric cars that are growing in popularity.

The Mid-Columbia Electric Vehicle Association was at the Franklin PUD bbuildingSaturday to show off electric vehicles along with Franklin PUD's charging station.

People had a chance to stop by and learn more about what it is like to own these unique cars.

“We're watching its usage and trying to decide what steps we'll take forward.  We're just trying to keep up with new technology and learn as it comes,” said Todd Blackman, Franklin PUD.

Franklin PUD has had the charging station for a year and are watching the trend to see if more people will switch over to electric.
