Good Samaritan Saves Man Engulfed In Flames

YAKIMA, WA.- It's not often you hear of a complete stranger putting his life in danger to save another, but today a Good Samaritan saw a man in trouble and rushed to the rescue.

Around noon on Sunday a couple was driving on the West Nob Hill Boulevard when they saw a shed on fire.

But when they got closer they saw a man running from the building completely engulfed in flames.

The couple jumped into action, called 911 and then proceeded to put the fire out.

“It's instinct when you have kids you just jump into action and just into any scene no matter what. We're just glad God put us in the right place at the right time,” Mike Quaale, told KNDO.

When crews arrived the man was transported to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with second and third degree burns.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

Mike and his wife Chelsea walked away with a few minor burns.
