YAKIMA, WA.- It's been a month since anyone has seen 67-year old Aurielo Villareal.

His family reported him missing on August 9th, but the missing persons report was just recently released to the media.

Now, with more than a month between when he was reported missing and when that report was released to media, seemed odd.

But we spoke with the Yakima County Sheriff's Office, and they say they average a missing persons report every other day and most of those are resolved within a few days.

“Just in this year alone we've received 128 missing persons reports from the public so if you factor that in, it's roughly one every other day so we don't notify the media a lot because if we did they would just lose interest,” Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mike Russell told KNDO.

Villareal's credit cards have not been used anywhere since his disappearance.

His family told officers that he is a diabetic and right before he disappeared he had refused to take his medication.

If you have any information that could help investigators contact the sheriff's office.                                                                             YAKIMA, WA - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is trying to find 67 Year old Aurelio "Leo" Villareal. Mr. Villareal lives on 300 block of Green Giant Road in the Mabton area and has been missing since August 9th.

If you have information about Mr.Villareal's location or disappearance you are asked to call the Yakima County Sheriff's Office at (509) 574-2500 or (800) 572-0490.  Anonymous information can also be called in to CrimeStoppers of Yakima County at (509)248-9980 or (800)248-9980. KENNEWICK: Good news for all of you bargain shoppers out there, Goodwill is opening a brand new store in Kennewick sometime next year. Thanks to a 3.1 million dollar loan and lots of planning, a very large patch of dirt will be home to a 20,000 square foot Goodwill; half warehouse and processing, half retail. The Kennewick store will be closing, however. You can still say, out with your old couches, TV's and clothing, and *into someone else's hands, just at a different location. ...More >>
