IFL Veteran RB Dennis Kennedy Returns to Tri-Cities Fever

KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-Cities Fever announced the signing of  IFL veteran running back Dennis Kennedy (5‘11”, 205 lbs) from the University of Akron on Thursday.  Kennedy will rejoin the Fever after playing the 2013 and 2014 seasons for a familiar foe, the Colorado Ice.

Kennedy got his start in the IFL with Tri-Cities, playing for the Fever in 2011 and 2012, while helping lead the team to the IFL Championship game both seasons. While with the Fever, he played in 32 games and had a total of 2,332 All Purpose Yards and 52 touchdowns. 

Kennedy moved to the Colorado Ice for the past two seasons and continued to enjoy great success helping them to the playoffs both seasons.  Kennedy has accumulated an IFL career total of 3,776 All Purpose Yards and 72 touchdowns in 45 games.

The Fever also made one other transaction on Thursday.  Wide receiver Mario Washington was released by the team.
