KENNEWICK, Wa. - The Drug Enforcement Agency is holding its National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday where people can safely dispose of any unwanted drugs.
People can turn in any unused medications for free between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the following locations:
-Pasco Wal-Mart: 4820 N Road 68
-Kennewick Police Department: 211 West 6th Ave.
-Walla Walla Police Department: 54 East Moore St.
-Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office: 234 Main St.
-College Place Police Department: 625 South College Ave.
-Richland Police Department: 871 George Washington Way
-West Richland Police Department: 3805 West Van Giesen
-City of Prosser CIA Coalition: 1227 Bennett Ave.
Yakima residents can get rid unused medications between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the following location:
-Yakima Solarity Credit Union: 401 Tieton Drive
You can also shred two banker boxes or three grocery bags of personal papers, old checks, and credit card statements at the Pasco Wal-Mart, the Solarity Credit Union in Yakima, or at the Sunnyside Justice Center.
