22 hot air balloons are taking off all weekend long at the Prosser airport at sunrise for the rally.
Koh Murai is a longtime hot air balloon pilot and he said this event is one of his favorites to be part of.
"It's fun to watch, it's a great time to take pictures of.if you've never been to one, it's always exciting. If you have been to one, little ones always love going and being around the balloons. The colors the sound, the noise, the roar, and then the quiet.it generally makes for a good family event," Murai said.
Organizers said if you want to watch them take off, you should get to the Prosser airport around 6:15 in the morning Saturday and Sunday.
It is free to watch. There will also be "Night Glow" Saturday night where the balloons will be lit up on the ground and you can get up close and personal with them.
