KENNEWICK, WA- Tattoo artists from all over the region came to the 5th Annual Tattoo Convention to show off their work.

The 5th Annual Tattoo Convention started Friday at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

Organizers said the Tattoo Convention is the only one in Eastern Washington.

Tattoo artists are showed off some of their best work and even some live tattooing demonstrations.

People took part in contests to win some free tattoos.

Some of the artists said they enjoy being around other tattoo artists because they get inspiration for new ideas.

“All of the great excited faces that are excited to be here that want to get tattooed, making contacts with all the fellow artists and our peers and re-charging our batteries off the like-minded energy,” said Chris Callister, artist at Upright Industries Tattoo Supply in Bend, Oregon.

The convention's last day is Sunday at Three River's Convention Center from 11 a.m – 6 p.m.
