KENNEWICK, WA -The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is making it easy for local businesses to get involved in Breast Cancer Awareness month. This is the first year you can have a Breast Cancer Awareness Kit delivered to your work to help fundraising efforts.
You can call the Cancer Center directly and request a box by calling (509) 737-3374. The box is filled with bracelets, pens, brochures about the clinic and even great fundraising techniques to get everyone involved.
Elizabeth McLaughlin the Foundation Director at Tri-Cities Cancer Center says “we want people to know we're gonna make it as easy as possible, this money is going to help out local patients. 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Every 100 cancer cases occurs in man, so it's really something that affects everyone… and by participating in this program, its easy, its fun and it really does help people out”.
All of the money donated in the month of October will directly go to helping those who need it in our community. There is even an option to order t-shirts for your employees as well.
