NACHES, WA.- The Yakima Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic violence call Tuesday afternoon, which ended up in a two-hour stand off.

Officers arrived at the scene where a 47-year-old man had locked himself in a trailer off of highway 12 in Naches.

The suspect was armed with a shotgun and had made threats against a mother and son in the area.

The mother told police the suspect also threatened to kill himself.

The standoff ended after the man walked out of the trailer and fired one shot in the air.

He repeatedly asked officers to shoot him before he was arrested.

He is being charged with felony harassment and reckless endangerment.
