Prescott Woman Dies in Head-On Collision with Semi Near Burbank

WALLA WALLA COUNTY, WA - A 29-year-old woman died Saturday morning after her car collided with a semi-truck around 5:30 a.m. according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers say Jenna M. Morton of Prescott was driving her Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on SR 124 about 12 miles east of Burbank when she crossed the center divide and crashed head-on into a semi-truck driven by Juan Rivera, 63 of Pasco. 

Rivera was hauling apples. Troopers say he was injured and transported to Lourdes Medical Center.

Morton died at the scene, according to WSP. Her next of kin has been notified. 

The cause is under investigation.
