KENNEWICK, WA- The Tri-Cities Pregnancy Network hosted the Swing for Life Golf Tournament Saturday morning at Canyon Lakes Golf Course.

This was their first year hosting the tournament to raise money for their non-profit organization.  They raise money to provide pregnant women with their basic needs and even provide blankets and diapers for children in need.

The group has been in the Tri-Cities for a while, but they wanted to do more to get their name out.

“We've been in the Tri-Cities for over 25 years and there's still a lot of people that don't know about us, so hopefully with another event and getting people involved in a golf tournament, will really help bring awareness to what we do and our cause,” said Andrea Riggs, Tri-Cities Pregnancy Network Executive Director.

October is the organization's awareness month and they have a list of their activities for the rest of this month on their website at http://www.tcpnetwork.org.
