UPDATE: Police Have One Suspect In Custody While They Continue To Investigate Marijuana Operation Inside Yakima Home

 YAKIMA, WA.- Yakima police began an investigation yesterday after they found an extensive marijuana oil and butter operation inside a home on South 80th Avenue.

They investigated the home after shots were heard fired in the area.

Police now have a twenty four year old Yakima man in custody in relation to the shooting and home invasion.

They arrested him around 3:30 this afternoon on the 1000 block of South 3rd Avenue.

They are currently trying to locate the second suspect.

YAKIMA, WA.- Yakima police are beginning an investigation after someone heard shots fired near a home on South 80th Avenue Wednesday night.  

Police initially thought it was a home invasion, but investigators now believe it was a targeted attack.

Police found an extensive marijuana oil and butter operation inside the home.

They believe the men who broke in were there to steal drugs.

They are looking for two men, but at this time they do not have any descriptions or any details on what the suspect's car looks like.

Police say the victims are not cooperating and the invasion will be investigated separately.

The DEA will handle the drug related portion of the case.
