Franklin Co. Deputies Seize $17,000 in Drug Bust After Rollover Accident and DUI Investigation

FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA - Two men from Mesa are sitting in the Franklin County jail after deputies seized thousands of dollars worth of drugs from their home. 

Deputies say a DUI investigation into a rollover accident Sunday morning led them to a home on the 4600 block of Russel Road in Franklin County.

Deputies with a search warrant found meth, several pounds of illegal marijuana, cocaine and a firearm in the home with a total street value of $17,000.

Deputies also found stolen social security cards and forged IDs.

They booked Armando Lopez, 24 and Ariel Matutes, 24 into Franklin County Jail under suspicion of possessing and distributing a controlled substances and illegal possession of a firearm.
