OTHELLO, WA - A nearby animal shelter is reaching out to a new TV program for some help after their shelter burned down in 2002. The pilot is being shot in Othello and shopped to several big networks to help out those furry family members we often care so much about.

Alycia Hadfield, the Producer of Animal House, said "we've had so many people that have offered to step up and come out and help and volunteer, donate products. They've just been incredible and that's the reason they chose this community because this is exactly what we want to show other communities how to do and they're perfect. They're a shining example of what can happen when people come together."

The producers have already been contacted by over 200 other organizations for help. They will be shooting in Othello from the 19th of October and should wrap up around the 28th. Animal House pilot producers are welcoming volunteers, they ask that you stop by the Adams County Fairgrounds.
