KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-Cities Fever announced the re-signing of Fever veteran defensive back Donyae Coleman (5'9”, 180 lbs.) from New Mexico State on Wednesday.
Coleman has played the past two seasons in the Tri-Cities for the Fever, and has been stellar both seasons.  In 2013, Coleman finished 2nd in the voting for IFL Rookie of the Year.  He followed that up this past season with 99 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 4 interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.  That effort was good enough to earn him first team All-IFL honors.

Donyae is from Compton, California, and was an All-WAC selection at New Mexico State.  He spent time the Arizona Cardinals prior to joining the Fever. He runs a youth camp called the All-In Academy back home in California in the offseason, and is very active in the Tri-Cities community, particularly the schools, during the season for the Fever.
