Oregon State Police Looking for 2 Suspects Who Assaulted & Robbed a Man on I-84

PENDLETON, OR - Oregon State Police are trying to find two men accused of robbing a man from Idaho who stopped to inspect his car along Interstate 84 east of Pendleton, Oregon.

Lt. Mike Turner says the 34-year-old Boise man stopped his car Wednesday night in the Deadman Pass area to check what he thought was a flat tire.

The man says a maroon 1990's Ford Mustang with California plates stopped behind him.

The victim told police the two men got out of the Mustang and assaulted him, taking his wallet then drove off. Both suspects are described as white males, age 35 - 40, approximately 5'10" tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

One suspect was reported to have dark hair, a beard, and was wearing a red plaid flannel shirt. The second suspect was reported to have dark hair, a moustache, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The victim received minor injuries, but did not require medical treatment.
