KENNEWICK, WA - 23 year old Francisco Miranda Resendiz is currently being held in the Umatilla County Jail on separate charges but NBC Right Now spoke with Sergeant Kevin McCary and Prosecutor Andy Miller on Thursday for an update.

McCary says there is a warrant out from Benton County that is holding Miranda in Umatilla County to make sure he does not have a chance to flee. Miller says they are still trying to extradite Miranda back to the area.

Prosecutors are still reviewing this case. Miranda's two brothers and dad are still persons of interest and have not been spoken to. Investigators are waiting on crime lab results and interviews.

Court documents say that Miranda confessed to work supervisors that he shot David Perez Saucedo a day after the three murders. No one has been charged with the deaths of Abigail Torres and Victoria Torres yet.
