PASCO, WA - Finding work in today's job market can be a struggle for anybody but it can be especially difficult for people living with a disability.

That's why the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management put on a job fair and resource expo at the TRAC in Pasco today.

People who went were introduced to a number of employers ready to hire them regardless of disabilities.

"There's a great pool of candidates out there that are disabled and so this is one way to be able to bridge that gap."said job fair coordinator Christine Devere.

One job fair candidate Joel Paul said "my hope to come out of today is you know to get further in my process of getting a job and maybe learning something about the world of work."

Employers were also invited to educational sessions to learn about disability etiquette and the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
