The Walla Walla Police Department is Participating in "No Shave November"

Posted: Updated:
WALLA WALLA, WA - Members of the Walla Walla Police Department and Dispatch are taking a break from shaving to help fight cancer for the next month during "No Shave November".

WWPD says they got idea back in 2009 that instead of spending money on shaving or hair removal for one month, they could donate that money to help fight cancer.

The Walla Walla Police Department has raised more than $500 toward their goal of $1,000.

To donate to their team, or start your own, you can sign up here: http://bit.ly/ZOMva9

WWPD says they are challenging other regional law enforcement agencies to meet or beat their goal.
