According to Safekids.org twice as many kids are hit by cars on Halloween compared to other days of the year.

Kennewick Police Sgt. Ken Lattin says you need to keep an eye out.

"The kids are just darting from house to house and it's important for drivers to remember, watch out for pedestrians, kids will dart out from behind cars when you don't expect them. it can be very dangerous so just slow down," Sgt. Lattin said.
