Kennewick, WA- Kamiakin senior Lindsey Schauble does a little bit of it all. She's a star on the basketball team, volleyball team and the track team for the Braves. She does it all while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
"Well I have to sacrifice some things like I have to sacrifice sleep and hanging out with friend. But it's so worth it though just to know that one day it will all come together and I'll be successful in whatever I want to do."
Schauble's coaches appreciate her work ethic on and off the court.
"She's been great," says head coach Lane Schumacher. "She's started for us for three years now so she knows what's expected, and she's a great leader for the girls. It's not just in her talk it's in her actions. She's a great student. She's everything that we want Kamiakin athletics to be."
Schauble was this year's Wendy's High School Heisman Trophy winner in the state of Washington. She hopes to continue running track in college next year.
