ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL: New Seahawks NFC Championship Decal Unveiled

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, WA. -- We told you about a local Yakima business last week that's making huge Seahawks decals to put on cars. Randy Roberson promised that if the Hawks won the NFC Championship, he would be putting some brand new decals on some cars. And he didn't disappoint.

Thursday, we got to see the whole process from attaching the decal one side at a time, to smoothing out the bumps and finally cutting away the openings for the doors and handles.

Randy says the owner of this truck had this decal in mind from the very beginning of the season.

"He had this idea at the beginning of the season that if they made it past the NFC Championship that he wanted to put it on the side of his truck," Randy said. "As a fan obviously I'm always wanting them in the Super Bowl. As a business owner, it's always good to have a little extra income come in."

Should be fun to see what randy comes up with if the Seahawks win the Super Bowl again.

YAKIMA, WA. -- It's a very important Blue Friday as Seahawks fans prepare for a big matchup against the Packers Sunday. We all have different ways of showing our 12th Man pride. Some even like to show it off all over their car. Monster Graphics is one of the only places in our area where you can get huge, life-size car decals for your ride.

The owner, Randy, showed us some of his work. These decals are so big, anyone driving by can see your 12th Man pride. Randy prints out these huge images, puts it in laminate and sticks it onto your car. The whole thing can be done in just a couple hours but can be costly at a couple hundred dollars per decal.

But he doesn't just do decals, some diehard fans have asked for a full back window image. Randy started doing Seahawks decals just 3 years ago and says almost any image a customer can think of can be put onto their car.

"It always feels good to see a customer happy when they leave," Randy Roberson said. "Especially when it's a Seahawks logo on it. If they have something in mind, just come on in and we'll make it a reality."

Randy is a huge Seahawks fan himself and has a back window display of his own on his truck in the shop.

The material used for the back windows is called Clear Vision. Although it doesn't look like it, when you're inside the car, you can see straight through it so traffic isn't blocked behind you.

Randy told us the work he is most proud of is the Seahawks Baja Bug. It was featured in one of our stories last year. Randy says if you haven't seen it before, it doesn't take long to recognize it.

Randy also says, if the Seahawks win this week and go to the Super Bowl again, he'll offer special discounts on his decals on Facebook! Follow their facebook page here:
