Police Asking for Help After Walla Walla Attempted Luring

WALLA WALLA, WA- Detectives in Walla Walla are asking for the public's help after Daniel I. Moreinis was arrested for trying to lure a young girl on Saturday

Moreinis is a 44-year-old transient from Colorado. We was arrested on probable cause for 2nd degree Luring and Criminal Impersonation. Witnesses saw the young girl run away scared when Moreinis tried to talk to her.

Witnesses said Moreinis approached the girl at Alder and 1st Avenue around 11:10 a.m.

Shortly after the incident, he was arrested and had a small plastic toy gun and plastic police badge with him. His bail was set at $100,000 during a court appearance Tuesday morning.
