KENNEWICK, WA - A sudden death is affecting many in the Kennewick community.

62 year-old Arnie Sullivan taught in Kennewick schools for more than a decade, most recently as an eighth grade teacher at Horse Heaven Hills Middle School.

When we asked the Kennewick School District for permission to speak with someone on campus that knew him they refused out of respect for the family. We've heard from friends who are remembering him as a great coach, a veteran and mentor. Sullivan was also a member of the Three Rivers Bird Dog Club and served as the Northwest Chair of the National Shoot To Retrieve Association (NSTRA).
