Medical Condition Causes Woman Driver to Crash into Parked Vehicles

Posted: Updated:
KENNEWICK, WA - Kennewick Police say a medical condition caused a driver to lose control of her car Tuesday afternoon and crash into two parked vehicles.

Police say the woman was driving in the area of Edison Street and 22nd Avenue when she had some sort of medical issue and couldn't take her foot off the gas pedal.

Officers say she took a corner too wide and hit a parked truck and another car, pushing the car into the garage of a house.

"All of the other vehicles were unoccupied and she was not injured from the crash and she in being treated for a medical condition. Sometimes we get a little lucky nobody was out, no body out in the yards, nobody was in these cars, no others cars coming down the street could have been a lot worse," says Sgt. Ken Lattin with the Kennewick Police Department.

The house that was hit is actually up for sale.
