NEW INFORMATION:  At this time, Century Link has been able to re-route 911 calls in Garfield and Walla Walla Counties only.  These calls are going to cell phones at the 911 call centers or PSAP (Public Service Access Point) in these counties. Technicians are continuing work on all services in Walla Walla, Garfield and Columbia counties with complete restoration expected by 9PM.

UPDATE:  CenturyLink technicians are continuing restoration work on the fiber cut in Pasco.  

All 911, local and long distance services currently impacting approximately 19,000 customers in Walla Walla, Columbia and Garfield counties are expected to be restored by 9:00 p.m. this evening. 


Any residents of Garfield county with an emergency are asked to contact Sherriff Keller directly on his cell phone at (509) 780-1210.

A fiber cable has been cut on Lewis Rd. in Pasco affecting 911, local, long distance and some cell services in Columbia, Garfield and Walla Walla counties impacting approximately 19,000 customers. 

At this time we have technicians on site working to restore the services as quickly as possible. 

In an emergency, residents should to go the nearest fire station or hospital until services can be restored. Time of restoration is unknown at this time.
