PASCO, WA - Last week NBC Right Now told you about an effort to set up a system at Columbia Basin College in Pasco that would allow people to testify in Washington State Senate hearings in Olympia from long distance. There's now an update, the system went through testing Friday and passed.

The Washington Policy Center has been directly involved, along with Senator Sharon Brown of Kennewick and CBC President Rich Cummins.  The Policy Center says an official announcement will come February 4th and remote testimony from the Tri-Cities will become a reality.
