KENNEWICK, WA- Saturday marked the 16th Annual Crab Feed to benefit the Benton Franklin Humane Society.

Event organizers expected more than 500 people to enjoy a crab dinner.

They also held raffles to raise money for homeless animals in the area.

Diner Edgar Orozco said he enjoyed helping out the good cause.

"This is our first year today.  I'm glad that we're a part of this.  We're always trying to support our community as much as we can and just make the best of it," said Orozco.

The Crab Feed started Saturday afternoon and went until 8 p.m. at St. Joseph's School PAC in Kennewick.
