Washington State Mother Arrested For Attempted Murder of Her Children
A Washington state mom is behind bars Monday morning after police arrested her for trying to kill her three young children with a knife.
OLYMPIA, WA-- A Washington State mom is behind bars Monday morning after police arrested her for trying to kill her three young children with a knife.Police said a 911 call went out in the middle of the night with a father telling a dispatcher his three babies are bleeding from their necks.
Paramedics arrived just after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday to find six month old twins and a two year-old with life threatening injuries caused by a knife. They are now in critical condition at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma.
Officers booked the children's mother, 29-year-old Christina Booth, into Thurston County Jail on three counts of first degree attempted murder.
Police said the father was in a different part of the house during the attack.
The kids are now in the custody of protective services while prosecutors prepare to charge their mom with attempted murder.
