KENNEWICK, WA - A man is in jail for domestic violence after the man's wife told Kennewick Police her husband assaulted her.

Trevor Fox, 36, was booked for 2nd degree assault on February 1st and the Prosecuting Attorney is reviewing the case for additional charges pending the outcome of the search warrants.

Kennewick Police say officers contacted Holly Fox, 34, and her mother at the Kennewick Police station at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday night regarding an assault.

Holly told police her husband, Trevor Fox, had been holding her against her will at their home since January 31st  and during this time Trevor had physically assaulted Holly multiple times by punching her and choking her. She also told police Trevor  pointed a handgun at Holly one time and another time fired a round through their sofa.

Sunday night while in Trevor's car and Holly was able to get out and run away and at one point Trevor located her on Columbia Dr. and threatened to shoot her but Holy was able to get away and called her mother, said police.

Police say after taking statements officers began surveillance on Fox's house. While watching the home, officers saw Trevor load personal belongings into his vehicle and drive off.

Officers say they conducted a high risk stop on Trevor's car and arrested Trevor without incident.

The vehicle was towed as evidence.
