Level Three Sex Offender is Now a Transient in the Area.

 The Benton County Sheriff's Office wants people to know a level three sex offender who was a resident of Richland is now a transient in the area.

Juan Chavez, 24, was convicted of first degree child  molestation back in 2002, 1st degree burglary in 2004 and failure to register as a sex offender in 2013.

Chavez is currently under department of correction supervision and he is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.

Chavez is banned from all parks, school and their grounds and libraries in Benton and Franklin County.
