PASCO, WA- Protestors were at Pasco City Hall on Thursday to hold a different type of protest.

Thursday morning around 9 a.m., a couple people started a support rally for the Pasco Police Department. The group stood out in front of city hall most of the day with signs in support of the officers involved in this week's shooting.

One of those protestors, Chris Black, said, "You know, it's easy to lash out at people and rally up when you're not agreeing with something. I think it's not agreeing with something that is a lot harder for a few people to come together for, when you do support something."

Black told NBC Right Now that a few Pasco police officers came out to thank them for their support and offer them a cup of coffee. The groups said they plan to have more rallies and hope more join in on supporting local law enforcement during the on-going investigation.
