Residents Gather To Support Pasco Police During Rally

Posted: Updated:
PASCO, WA.- Protesters in support of Antonio Zambrano Montes weren't the only people rallying Saturday afternoon.

Outside Pasco City Hall on Saturday local residents were showing their support for the Pasco Police Department.

It was a small gathering but the people we spoke with told us they felt it was important to show their support for local law enforcement.

Kenneth Taylor a local from Kennewick said he wasn't against the protesters in Volunteer Park and their right to free speech, but wanted to show the Pasco Police Department they aren't alone.

“We felt it was important to be here to let the Pasco Police and other police departments, the men and women who wear that uniform, know we support them,” Taylor told KNDU.

All of the protesters involved Saturday afternoon have remained peaceful so far, but we'll continue to keep you updated if the situation changes.
