TERRACE HEIGHTS, WA-- Firefighters are working to find out what started a house fire on Warrior Road in Terrace Heights around 7:00 a.m. Monday morning.

When fire crews arrived at the scene, the house was fully involved and they could see smoke and flames coming out of the building.

Flames were also on the back deck of the house.

Firefighters said the fire made its way up to the attic space where a lot of smoke was coming from.

The flames were mostly contained to the back deck, kitchen and attic.

Neighbors said there was one person at the house, but they were in another structure on the property when the fire started.

Crews had to cut into the attic through the roof to get to the fire, once they did that they were able to knock out the flames quickly.

No one was injured.
