YAKIMA, WA- A man is behind bars and is now waiting for his arraignment after Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies arrested him for making threats against a basketball coach at school in the upper valley.

38-year-old Ernest Gomez went before a judge for the first time Friday morning after deputies arrested him for making the threats to the coach on Facebook.

Deputies said the threats were apparently made in response to the coach's complaints of aggressive behavior exhibited by Gomez's daughter during basketball games.

The judge set his bail at $5,000.00.  His next court date is March 6th.
