Two Teens Die In Speeding Crash Overnight

COULEE CITY, WA-  Two teens are dead and one hurt after the driver lost control and hit a light pole near Coulee City just before 8:30 p.m. Friday night.

17-year-old Auston Frye and passenger 18-year-old Pedro Huitron died at the scene near milepost 191 on SR 2. The second passenger, 16-year-old Roberto Valdovinos was taken to Harborview in Seattle.

Frye is from Hartline, Valdovinos and Huitron are from Lind. It's unknown if alcohol played a factor, Washington State Patrol said the cause of the crash was due to speeding.
