Kittitas County Search and Rescue To Receive $25,000 Grant

Kittitas County, WA - The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says Kittitas County Search and Rescue has been approved for a $25,000 grant from the Puget Sound Energy Foundation. 

The grant will be used towards our goal of a second communications vehicle which will be stationed in Upper County to help expedite search and rescue operations, according to The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office . 

A ceremony is planned on Thursday, February 26th, at 7 p.m.. The event will be held in the Naneum Room at the Kittitas County Event Center in Ellensburg, with members of the PSE Foundation presenting an oversized check to Kittitas County Search and Rescue volunteers and Sheriff's Office Administration.

Kittitas County Search and Rescue says The PSE Foundation were the lead financial supporter of the 2013 Washington State Search and Rescue Conference, which was hosted in Ellensburg by KCSO and KCSR.
