Deputies Still Searching For Body Of Murder Victim

Posted: Updated:
YAKIMA, WA.- 18-year-old Yoset Dominguez-Serrano is currently awaiting trial for the murder of Antonio Hernandez Ledezema, but Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for Ledezma's body.

Deputies found Hernandez Ledezema's Mustang with a busted window and blood all over the seat.

After that Dominguez Serrano was arrested and he admitted to killing Hernandez Ledezma, however he told deputies he didn't remember where he put the body.

It's been weeks now and still no one has found his body. We checked in with the Yakima Sheriff's Office to see how the search is going.

“We would have liked to have found the body by now and we certainly still want to try to find the body, not only for the criminal case, but to try to bring some closure to the victim's family,” Detective Mike Russell said.

Detective Russell says at this point they aren't actively searching for the body; they're hoping a resident will discover the body or a tip might be called in.

However Detective Russell says even without the body they still have a solid case.

If you have any information on this case you're encouraged to contact the Yakima Sheriff's Office.
