PASCO, WA- People protesting the police shooting of Antonio Zambrano two weeks ago took to the streets again Saturday afternoon.

Protestors gathered at Volunteer Park Saturday with the theme, "17 blocks for 17 shots," representing the number of bullets fired at Zambrano from Pasco Police the evening he died.

The rally began with a discussion regarding the latest on the incident and what they wish to see heading into the future of the investigation, but not only for this case, but for others like it.

"Through social media, we can keep this alive on a daily basis.  We can reach more and more people, give more people a platform that they can discuss their concerns, their fears, or maybe solutions that they can think of.  The more people we have involved, the more we're going to be able to get done," said media coordinator for Consejo Latino, Rick Rios.

The group said there will be more rallies every Saturday until they get the change they wish to see.

There was also a benefit concert for the Zambrano family at the Flamingo's Party Hall on West Court Street. A suggested donation was $20 dollars.
