KENNEWICK, WA- Tri-Cities on Tap made its debut at the Benton-Franklin Fairgrounds with 1,300 guests.

Both afternoon and evening sessions were sold out and it has been that way for days.  Crowds chose from more than 65 breweries and 100 different beers.

Local breweries used this as a chance to show what they can offer to the tri-Cities.

"I like seeing people enjoy good beer.  That's what our business is based off of, selling great beer and giving people a place to really have a friendship and fellowship and enjoy each other's company,” said Mark Garrett, Owner of Brew's Taphouse.

There was also a live band and food vendors.

Tri-cities on Tap is a part of America on Tap.  The organizers said they will have this event again, especially since it sold out in its first year.
