THE DALLES, OR - Oregon State Police Troopers in The Dalles are investigating after a mother reported her children went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers say shortly before 3:00 p.m., the woman went into the Oregon State Police patrol office in The Dalles to report her four children, ranging in ages from 4-9, had failed to show up at school.

The mother told Police she let the children to stay with her uncle for the past several days and he was supposed to take the children to school in the morning, but failed to do so.

Troopers began working with the Northern Command Center who was able to locate the suspect, identified as 61 year old Donald D. Clark of The Dalles in Goldendale via a cell-phone ping.

Troopers contacted the Goldendale Police Department and requested they attempt to locate Clark and the children.

Around 5:00 p.m., Goldendale Police found Clark and all four children unharmed.

Clark has been booked into the Klickitat County Jail on a warrant out of Oregon for custodial interference.

The children are now back with their mother.
