Over 1000 Run in 2nd Annual Montana Mucker

Posted: Updated:
Over 1000 runners came out to the Great Divide Ski Resort to run the 5k race. No times were kept, but for the first race of the day, which was the elite race, prizes were given for first, second and third place. But really all of the participants were winners as they ran up and down the side of the mountain while going through some mud and military style obstacles that was fun for all who participated.

"It was amazing,"said Mucker runner Justin Kirkbride. "A lot of fun. A little bit more uphill than I thought, but the mud was worth it. I'm not a runner, but I like getting dirty so it was perfect for me."

"It was awesome," said Mucker runner Halley O'Leary. "It was such a good time, and it goes to a good cause. I love these mud runs, they're such a good time. You know you get to stop and play, and it's good to get the family out there. It's a good workout."
