Brush Fire Near Pasco Kahlotus Highway is Put Out

UPDATE SUNDAY 10:43 PM:

FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA- Franklin County Fire District 3 says the fast moving brush fire was contained around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters say they did not lose any structures during the fire fight.

UPDATE 8:25 p.m.:

FRANKLIN COUNTY,WA -Franklin County deputies say it looks like crews are getting the fire under control. Franklin County Fire and other agencies are battling the blaze right now.

The fire started south of Foster Wells Road and moved toward Pasco Kahlotus Highway. They say the evacuation was due to a large amount of dry brush surrounding those homes. Everyone has made it out safely.
